I am a Flemish vocalist, composer, musicologist and educator based in Ghent, Belgium, working in the fields of jazz and classical music.

I studied music performance and composition at the Berlin University of Arts/ Hanns Eisler Academy of Music, after which I completed a Master’s degree in Musicology at the University of Oxford. There, my research focus was on aesthetics and the philosophy of music.

My work as a musician is grounded in a fascination with sound as mediated reality and its impact on human experience and perception. Storytelling is central to what I do, and I am especially interested in world building through soundscapes and fictional acoustic environments.
